Starseed is Dayne Herndon, Producer, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist, Sound Designer, Vocalist, Performer, Sound Healer with the intention "to bring you closer to The Truth. And The Truth is Love, and Love is the The All, and The All is Vibration."
Starseed brings you an infusion of elements from across the musical spectrum. Hip-hop beats coalescing with ambient overtones seek to align you to the space deep within, to bring you to a place both alien and yet somehow familiar and welcoming. Downtempo grooves colored by jazz harmonies call you to take a moment to pause, to reflect, to contemplate, to meditate. Cosmic soundscapes ride along driving rhythms, beckoning you to remember your divinity, to take a look at the bigger picture, and to expand your horizons to perceive a reality of love beyond anything you could possibly imagine. For in truth, reality is indeed both stranger and more amazing than fiction.
Tobi D’Amore usually fronts the dynamic New York indie rock project The Bone Chimes alongside close friends Ben Dobay (Woodwinds/Keys), Tom Rizacassa (Bass), Vincent Byrne (Drums), Pablo Masis (Trumpet), and Alessandra Migliaccio (Vocals/Keys). Having played to sold out audiences at some of New York City’s most iconic venues including: Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theatre, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Rough Trade, Mercury Lounge, Pianos, and Arlene’s Grocery as well as playing in road houses such as The Grape Room (Philly), Beachland Tavern (Cleveland), NOTSUOH (Houston), and the Middle East Cafe (Boston) - one thing is for certain - this seasoned band packs an undeniable punch. As Tobi paves the way with solo shows across the East Coast, TBC continues to gain steam.
