RETREAT faq
WHAT KINDS OF GROUPS DO YOU HOST?
We love to host groups of all kinds! Previous retreats have included business in the private sector, non-profts, university departments, think tanks, health, yoga and wellness, family reunions, and many more.
WHAT SIZE GROUPS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
Our group packages start at 15 people. We can host groups up to 84 on-site, as well as larger groups that have guests staying elsewhere and coming to Race Brook for daytime meetings / festivities.
HOW DO YOU PRICE GROUP RETREATS?
We will collect the following information and then compute a per-person rate for your group: dates, arrival and departure times, meals, occupancy details (single, double, triple, etc), meeting spaces and other amenities.
WHAT AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO GROUPS?
Your group will have access to all the communal spaces at Race Brook Lodge, such as hiking trails, the pool, and the sauna (for an upcharge). A variety of meeting spaces are available, as are flip charts, AV equipment, and high-speed internet. Smaller groups may share the grounds with another small group; larger groups may have exclusive use of the property.
How do meals work?
Once we know how many guests and how many meals are required, we will create a custom menu for your group. We also include tea, coffee and snacks for one meeting per day.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE GROUPS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Yes, absolutely! We will work with you to determine the dietary needs are of your group and to create a custom menu that works for everyone.
Can we purchase alcohol?
Yes! We can arrange several options, depending on the needs of your group. Your guests may order drinks in our tavern (open Wednesday - Sunday), or we can arrange for a help-yourself bar stocked with wine and beer. If you prefer, we can offer a full bar with a bartender for your guests - contact us for pricing.
Can some members of our group stay off-site?
Absolutely. When we share a quote for your group we will include one rate for guests who stay on-site, and a commuter rate for guests joining for meals and festivities/meetings who stay elsewhere.
