Brooklyn Raga Massive presents an evening of Indian Classical Music with Samarth Nagarkar & Ehren Hanson.
Samarth Nagarkar is a Hindustani classical vocalist, known for his captivating performances and traditionally rich music. Samarth is a recipient of a Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and a President’s Award for winning the All India Radio’s National Music Competition. He is currently Guru and Director of Academic Affairs at Chhandayan, a prominent Indian music and dance school in New York City, and also teaches adjunct lectures and master-classes at Manhattan School of Music and New York University.
Ehren Hanson is an upcoming professional tabla player from Brooklyn Ny. A disciple of the legendary tabla maestro Pandit Anindo Chatterjee since 1999, he is dedicated his adult life to learning, spreading, and performing the classical art of tabla playing. Ehren is a founding member of Brooklyn Raga Massive, an avid international performer, a teacher, and an technology entrepreneur.
