DCSC November 30th: KIN

  • Down County Social Club 864 South Undermountain Road Sheffield, MA, 01257 United States (map)

An intimate performance with two songstresses in love with Berkshire land... KIN is a movement of reanimating nature and declaring kinship with all life...

Come early for farm-to-table dining and drinks at the Stagecoach Tavern then head downstairs to DCSC to see Brianna Kin share her songs, then stay for Jess Kin's music set.

KIN (Jess Kin) uses music and art as a soothing balm for the hard truth. She weaves heartfelt poetry into dynamic vocal melodies and harmonies that shake one's soul into the present moment. Incorporating live looped vocals, piano and baritone ukulele, she creates soulful and catchy tunes to sway to. With authenticity, humor and wisdom, she addresses her view of the current state of humanity and proclaims her dreams of what could be. Each song is a prayer and a testament to the lessons learned from the challenges she has faced. Her personal mission is to live in gratitude and treat all life as kin.

More info can be found at her website.

Brianna Kin:

Known for her captivating soulfulness, Brianna has been performing on stage since the age of six. Now, she uses her baritone ukulele and vocal improvisations to bring a soulful, blues vibe to contemporary jazz.
