Boondocks Film Society presents Kevin Smith’s Mall Rats, at Race Brook Lodge, Saturday April 20th
Let's face it. Danbury Square ain't what it used to be, and Lee Premium Outlets doesn't even have an Orange Julius. So if you need somewhere to kill time after you've torn through your stash on 4/20, may we suggest joining us to kill a few more brain cells With MALLRATS, the 90s cult comedy that propelled Jason Lee from skate videos to major studio contracts.
Grab a cafeteria tray and dig in to some food-court-inspired fare. Get in the 90s groove with some good, old-fashioned emo, skater punk and alt-rock. Slurp down a mind-altering, liquor-spiked version of the mall-classic Orange Julius. Stare at our custom-designed Magic Eye for hours and miss the film to see the hidden image, if that's what you feel you need to do. There'll be many more details TBA as the event approaches!
