Throughout our summer season Race Brook Lodge is enthused to invite local musicians to share in an intimate setting around our campfires as the sun sets over the mountain. An un-ticketed free series (you heard that right!) where our audiences and guests can connect and converse with our artists in an organic conversational relationship.
This Friday come out to enjoy a campfire Jam with Taz Ramos.
A member of Berkshire Bateria and founder of Quarteto de Samba, Taz is a music educator promoting musical diversity in colleges and schools across Western Massachusetts. Not only is Taz a musician, he is also a homesteader and survivalist, appearing as a contestant on the latest season of the History Channel’s “Alone,” where he put his bushcraft creativity and hunting skills to the test. Originally a professional actor, Taz has since redirected his skills to music. He finds music to be synonymous with culture, and hopes to promote his heritage and background through his own work. As a result, Taz refuses to keep himself exclusive to a single group and instead is involved with several musical acts in the Berkshires as of the present.
