Songwriter and front-man of Dreamaholic, Michael Lesko, who thinks of himself as a sad clown with a tiny cowboy hat on, joins Jess Kitch, a sweet and sultry soprano doing acoustic sets that spread a profoundly positive message, in the DCSC, Thursday August 31th, 7 - 10 PM. It's like folk alternative, but better. $10 donation for the artists. $10 donation for the artists.
Michael Lesko, 30, plays drums and writes and produces his own music. He is currently writing, performing, and recording with his folk rock band, Dreamaholic. Michael Lesko has performed in groups that vary in genre from folk and experimental to reggae and hip-hop. He studied at Berklee School of Music. Michael has composed hours of original electronic music available on michaellesko.bandcamp.com.
Michael is now teaching songwriting and he is starting a kind of musical coaching, he calls, Musical Guidance. This is a series of one-on-one sessions that helps familiarize beginners, of all ages, with music and it's potentially transformative role in their lives.
