Hannah Kate Dwyer - massage
Hannah Kate Dwyer joins our team with a depth of knowledge and experience in the ocean of Ayurveda and Yoga. Having studied with Dr. Vasant Lad for over 1500 hours at the Ayurvedic Institute, and having been trained at his Panchakarma clinic in India, she is deeply influenced by the art of mindfulness with which Dr. Lad approaches each moment and each client.
Understanding the subtle energetic pathways, Hannah works with each client hoping to help them find a state of bliss and ease in their sessions that they can translate into their daily living.
Hannah also brings with her a profound understanding of alignment and anatomy having completed a 750 hour training at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork in Kilauea, Kaua’i, where she studied Structural Integration. She has also competed two 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, one with Yogrishi Vishvaketu in Rishikesh, India, and one with Dr. Lad concurrent with her studies at the Ayurvedic Institute.
Combining her training in Ayurveda, Massage, and Yoga with her tremendous self-study Hannah crafts each session to fit you uniquely, attuning breath with movement, adjusting strokes and pressure, and choosing herbal oils and poultices to help you radiate as you step off of the table and into the pulse of the daily life.
Enchanted by the Sanskrit language and the use of sound as medicine, clients can also look forward to each session beginning and ending with ancient Sanskrit prayers.

“I find the quiet focus on breath, conscious movement and flow in the practices as a way to care for the self as mind chatter quiets, the body is (softly) challenged, noticing what comes up without going into the wrongness of anything, and being enveloped in a sense of wellbeing and timelessness.”
